Not long after Jasper's defeat and the disappearance of her and Lapis Lazuli into the ocean depths, the Crystal Gems have caught wind of rogue Peridot's whereabouts at a once ancient Gem metropolis. Hot on her trail and ready to capture her, the Crystal Gems soon find that she's not alone.
A hand-drawn episode that introduces Topaz to the world of Steven Universe.
Note:
I won't lie to you, this comic isn't pretty. It's poorly drawn, it's character design is inconsistent, it's jokes and dialogue don't always make sense, nor do the visuals and actions, it's got the next scenes bleeding through each page, but it's where Topaz made her transition from the concept to the concrete. And, hey, 50 pages, 6 panels per page, of mostly fighting ain't half bad, yeah?
It does get prettier as it progresses.
